The printing phases of your gummed paper tape seal
- Once the client requests the printing of their gummed paper tape seal, and the contents of said print, IbergumSA’s design and printing team sets off to adapt the graphic artwork requested by the client to the dimensions and qualities of the support. This may include the graphic design that will be captured or also the logo, text and any other element that must appear on the water activated tape.
- When these bases are determined, the client will approve the final design.
- Then the personalized clichés are prepared with these designs; these clichés whose relief is impregnated with water-based inks are the basis for creating the desired impression on the gummed paper tape.
- In the assembly department, the clichés/liners are placed and adjusted on the printing rollers, which will then be installed on the printing machine.
- With everything prepared, it is now possible to start the printing process, transferring the water-based inks to the clichés/shirts that will allow the pre-established design to be definitively printed on the paper.
- At the same time, we print, we rewind and cut the finished water activated tape reels, which will be packed automatically.
